ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic journey began on my grandfather's lap, watching him create beautiful calligraphy with ink and quill pens. A professional calligrapher whose work included scrolls for the Queen of England, he sparked a lifelong passion for art. After earning a Fine Arts degree, I worked as a sign painter before joining the Karin Newby Gallery in Tubac, Arizona, where I created Southwest and Native American-inspired works. Over the years, my subjects have expanded to include angels, animals, flowers, and landscapes. Through every painting, my goal remains the same: to communicate from the soul and create a meaningful connection with the viewer. If my work touches someone, I have succeeded.
