My paintings are inspired by the people and places that hold special meaning in my life. I paint from memory, using oil paint to capture how it feels to remember something important. My dad taught me to draw when I was younger, and that connection still inspires me today. I hope my art helps others see beauty in their own memories and experiences.

MEET ISABELLA PADILLA
Isabella Padilla is an oil painter from Eastvale, California, whose work is shaped by memory, emotion, and the people and places that hold deep personal meaning. Now based in Irvine, she studies Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, where she continues to explore the balance between observation, reflection, and creativity. Isabella’s artistic journey began in childhood, when her father first taught her how to draw. What started as a shared hobby quickly grew into a lifelong form of self-expression — a way to slow down and see the world differently. Over time, drawing evolved into painting, and painting became a language through which she could revisit memories, relationships, and moments that continue to shape her sense of identity. Working primarily with oil paints, Isabella builds each piece through layers of memory and emotion. Her recent subjects often come from personal photographs or recollections — a familiar landscape, a family member, or a moment that carries significance. While her studies in biology offer a structured view of the natural world, art gives Isabella the freedom to interpret it emotionally. Isabella continues to refine her technique and artistic voice. She has sold original paintings through Etsy and aims to share her work more broadly through exhibitions, collaborations, and community involvement. Her long-term goal is to connect with other artists and audiences.
