Brian has been studying multiple mediums of art since early grade school. He fell in love with the art of tattooing and the watercolor technique known as spit shading and in 2014, Brian started his apprenticeship at Black Umbrella Tattoo & Art Gallery in Garden Grove, Ca. He has a passion for studying and learning new techniques and different cultures. He's especially interested in Ukiyo-e wood block and watercolors along with American Traditional Folk Art, Neo Traditional Tattoo Art, and Illustration. He uses all his knowledge he has collected from other artists and studies to try and create his own unique style. When he is not tattooing or painting, he enjoys writing the manuscript for his first novel, searching for lost artifacts as an amateur archeologist, and creating bonsai.
