MEET COLLEEN FLYNN

Colleen Flynn is a Los Angeles–based contemporary artist whose work blends expressive realism with the bold, textural language of palette‑knife painting. Raised in Seattle and shaped by years spent in London and Montana, she draws deeply from the landscapes, coastlines, and shifting atmospheres that have defined her sense of place. Her paintings are known for their vibrant color, sculptural texture, and emotional movement—inviting viewers into scenes that feel both grounded and dreamlike.

Colleen studied at the Art Institute of Seattle and continued her artistic development through courses at Pratt Fine Arts Center and numerous workshops that helped refine her distinctive voice. After stepping away from art to raise her children, she returned with renewed clarity and purpose, building a body of work that has been exhibited in galleries and collected nationwide.

Her Coastal Collection, created during the 2020 beach closures, marked a pivotal moment in her career. What began as a personal outlet for hope and connection evolved into a thriving series that now spans original paintings, prints, and thoughtfully designed home décor. Today, Colleen continues to explore the interplay of color, texture, and emotion—crafting artwork that brings warmth, movement, and a sense of belonging to modern living spaces.
