MEET ARTE FIGUEROA

Arte Figueroa is an emerging mixed media artist based in Orange County, California. Working in acrylic, oil, and watercolor, their practice moves between abstraction and figuration, often blending the surreal with deeply emotional undertones. For Arte, creating is both release and restoration. Art began as a way to relax and heal, and has grown into a language for expressing what feels difficult to articulate. Influenced by local artists, as well as the encouragement of family and friends, their work continues to evolve through experimentation and personal reflection. In 2024, a drawing was featured in the Fullerton College Exhibition, marking an early milestone in their artistic journey. Arte is currently developing new paintings and drawings, expanding their visual voice and sharing intimate fragments of how they experience the world.
