MEET GAIL LONG
For many years Gail has used pencils, charcoal, and paper to express his art. In 2022 an accident had Gail on his back for many weeks. During that time a good friend gave him some brushes, paints, and a couple of small canvases. The rest is history in the making.
Gail's work is and always has been influenced by illustrators. Cutting a slice from a story that engages, fascinates, and inspires is where his passion lies. Images prompt feelings and feelings are the core of any story. To feel is to experience and Gail's work puts the viewer in front of emotion and motion.
Gail's main subjects are creatures of fantasy and horror, and space scenes. He also does landscapes and portraits, and the occasional abstract. All frames from stories he creates as he creates his work.
