(For all BHAC Volunteer Exchange participants)
1. Purpose
This agreement outlines the understanding between the Bee + Hive Artist Collective (BHAC) and the undersigned volunteer, who agrees to contribute service hours in exchange for a membership and related benefits.
2. Duration
Term: Three (3) months, renewable upon mutual agreement.
Volunteer shall contribute 5–10 hours per month of service during this term.
3. Roles & Responsibilities
Volunteers may contribute to one or more of the following areas:
Gallery preparation and art handling
Social media content creation
Event assistance (set-up, check-in, photography, etc.)
Community outreach or marketing support
Administrative organization
Newsletter or blog contributions
Volunteers agree to:
Communicate availability and attendance in advance
Track hours in the designated log
Represent BHAC positively in all public interactions
Maintain professionalism, respect, and confidentiality
4. Membership Benefits
Upon fulfilling the agreed volunteer hours, the volunteer will receive:
Full access to BHAC member privileges (for the 3-month period)
Inclusion in exhibitions, pop-ups, and networking events
Priority consideration for continued involvement or future paid roles
5. Termination
BHAC reserves the right to terminate the agreement at any time if:
The volunteer fails to meet responsibilities or conduct expectations
The collective’s operational needs change
Volunteers may also withdraw at any time with one week’s notice.
6. Liability
Volunteers understand they are not employees of BHAC and are not entitled to wages, benefits, or insurance coverage. Volunteers assume responsibility for their personal safety during service hours and agree to follow all BHAC protocols.
7. Acknowledgment
By signing below, the volunteer affirms that they have read and understood the terms of this agreement and voluntarily agree to participate in the BHAC Volunteer Exchange Program.
